Educational Programming

As a death educator and grief support specialist, I provide information to individuals and communities about the processes of death and grief. Talking about mortality and bereavement can often be taboo; my hope is to destigmatize the conversations surrounding these inevitable occurrences and clarify others’ understanding about what to expect when facing them. My career as an educator and training as a writer has prepared me to serve learners of all ages with personalization and professionalism.

I have developed relevant, original curriculum and engaging presentations on numerous topics in the field, including: What To Expect with Active Dying, Caregiving 101, How to Write a Eulogy, A Poetic Guide to Grief, Funeral Practices Around the Globe, and more.

I’m available for:

  • speaking engagements

  • leading a writing workshop (or series of such)

  • facilitating a retreat

  • teaching a variety of sessions

  • consultations on obituary and eulogy writing
